En el Colegio Sn. Ángel de Puebla los alumnos son considerados como un ser que se relaciona consigo mismo, con otros y con su entorno, desarrollando competencias y experimentando su conocimiento a través de un aprendizaje activo. El plan y los programas de estudio han sido formulados para responder a los requerimientos formativos del alumnado, para dotarlos de habilidades y herramientas que les permitan desenvolverse y participar activamente en la construcción de una sociedad culta, consciente y justa. Por lo tanto, las competencias que se describen a continuación son las que debe poseer el egresado del nivel como producto de la formación humanista y académica que recibe en nuestra Institución.

Middle Primary (3rd grade)

At the end of the third year of primary students are able to introduce the members of their families, give information about themselves, express ideas about different topics as birthday parties, sports, activities outdoors and indoors, illnesses, actions, abilities, name parts of the house, body parts, senses, parts of different human systems, planets and the universe. Identify kinds of animals as vertebrates and invertebrates, living and non living things, kind of matter and energies, science topics. Students will write good opinions about their research which will be presented by power point presentations, small essays about ecological and social problems where they will propose solutions to have a better environment.

End of Primary (6th grade)

Students at this moment handle all the basic grammatical structures as simple present, present continuous, simple past tense, past progressive and the future time expressed with will and be going to, used to. The uses of modals as must, can, could, would, may in affirmative and negative way. Also the prepositions of place, movement and time. They will be able to express ideas and descriptions of places around the world, national and international traditions, cultural vacations, ways to live, kinds of life at the different landscapes, emphasize the different events and activities from past and nowadays, offer solutions for social and ecological problems, future plans for their community. Students will consolidate their research by making campaigns in order to invite people to live in harmony, to collect items for helping to others, keep the water safe, etc. The reading skill is developed by readings extra books and generating reports about it.
